Architecture Wall Art

I made this piece in Metals and Jewelry Making. I enjoyed this class a great deal because of the patience it takes to create even the smallest piece. I created this piece using a process that allowed me to etch pictures and a quote about architecture on pieces of metal. After the pictures and quote were etched by acid onto the metal, I cut the metal with a jewler's saw to create the edges. I used bolts to attatch the metal to eachother in order to tie the entire theme together. I won an award with this piece at an art showing last spring.
